When travelling with children, published sessions and age rules determine when the facilities can be used together.

Strandhotel Heringsdorf has an indoor pool and an outdoor brine pool heated to 30 °C. Brine is salt water. Steigenberger Grandhotel & Spa Heringsdorf combines an indoor pool with a year-round heated outdoor pool. At A-ROSA Strandidyll Heringsdorf, a swim channel links the heated indoor and outdoor pools. Hotel zur Post Bansin also confirms a year-round heated outdoor pool.
A seasonal outdoor pool needs checking for the actual travel dates. This applies to the rooftop pool at Hotel Kaiserhof Heringsdorf. Its indoor pool is separately verified. Upstalsboom Heringsdorf and Strandhotel Ostseeblick each have a confirmed indoor pool; an absent outdoor pool description is not turned into a negative answer.

The properties mentioned list their own sauna facilities. Steigenberger Grandhotel also lists a separate women’s sauna. A-ROSA Strandidyll lists a Finnish sauna, sanarium, meaning a milder sauna, and steam bath. General opening hours do not establish whether children may use every area.
Strandhotel Ostseeblick has children’s pool sessions from 10:00–12:00 and 14:00–16:00. At Steigenberger, 11:00–12:00 and 15:00–16:00 are splash sessions for livelier play with parents. Outside these hours the operator describes the spa as a whisper zone; this does not establish a general ban on children outside these sessions. Beach visits and other activities can be planned around the required swimming sessions.
Das Ahlbeck Hotel & SPA provides a separate family spa with an indoor pool and saunas. Strandhotel Ostende instead accepts guests from age 12 and has verified sauna facilities. The hotel’s minimum age therefore needs checking first, followed by pool and sauna conditions. SPA DELUXE and its relaxation room at Das Ahlbeck are available to guests aged 14 and over.
Where a children’s rule is unknown, access should be confirmed before reserving a room. Family-friendly accommodation alone does not promise unrestricted use of the entire wellness area.
